The Putin war propaganda machine is in full swing.
A pro-Russian actress was included in five different Ukrainian reports.
The “actress” has played roles in news clips in Kiev, Kharkiv, Odessa. She has played as a soldier’s mother and an anti-Maiden (pro-Russian) activist. She even wore the same hat in two of the reports!
Apparently, her performances were enough to win over the Central Committee of the Academy of Marxist Motion Picture Arts and Socialist Sciences and she received the People’s Award of Merit in Service to the Motherland.
President Obama is said to be furious. Not because of Putin’s antics, but because he didn’t think of it first. “Can’t we get a hat around here?” he is said to have grumbled.
Obama is expected to issue an executive order authorizing full-scale mainstream media retaliation.
Sceptics are concerned that, essentially, there would be no difference between the new executive order and current White House practices today.
You may remember that the Obama Administration did try something similar to the propaganda tactics that Putin is using.
On Sunday, September 16th, 2012, five days after the attack on the American consulate in Benghazi, the Obama Administration sent out UN Ambassador Susan Rice to five different news shows so that he could misinform the American people.
Rice downplayed the attack, saying that it was a “spontaneous protest” triggered by a “hateful video.” Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans were killed in the attack. The three American killed along with Amb. Stevens were Sean Smith, Glen Doherty, and Tyrone S. Woods.
A Senate Report later confirmed that there were no protests.
